Campaign Data/Call Center Coordinator - Advancement

Job summary: The Campaign Data/Call Center Coordinator reports to the Annual Giving Officer and the Advancement Data Manager. They are responsible for data mining and compile individual profiles to benefit the work of major gift officers, the vice president of advancement and the president of the university. They will also oversee and manage the Advancement Call Center which solicits gifts for Southern Adventist University from alumni. Solicitations range from $20 - $1,000 as annual gifts and pledges, for a total goal of $250,000 throughout the year. The constituent portfolio range is over 41,000 prospects.

Essential duties and responsibilities: Work with the Annual Giving Officer to implement the strategy to reach Southern’s alumni and attendees, inviting them to make an annual gift to the Southern Fund, Scholarship Fund, and Academic Affinity giving.
• Improve the acquisition rate of givers.
• Strengthen the retention rate of givers.
• Grow the level of giving from passing the mantel givers.
• Research and prepare individual data profiles to help in the successful qualification, cultivation and solicitation of major donor prospects for the capital campaign.
•Recruit, review applicants, hire, and schedule student workers for the call center. Should maintain a roaster of 32-35 student callers to fill 10 call stations S-TH evenings, Sep-Apr.
oManage, supervise, and motivate 32-35 callers and ambassadors. You are responsible for the disciplinary action and ensure the procedures are followed.
Plan and facilitate initial and advanced caller training.
•Perform evaluations monthly and each semester.
•Manage the call center budgets for student wages, training, and awards.
•Track nightly results and compile reports.

•Participate in university events and serve on committees as needed.

Experience: Must have a strongly expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, an SDA church member in good and regular standing.

Skills: Bachelor’s degree required. Management experience required,

Salary: Grade 3014) $13.86 - $18.54 per hr.
